A client in the IT industry
About the role:
We are expanding and looking for a dynamic person to join our client’s technical team. The person must be fluent in Afrikaans in order to service our current client base.
Responsibilities:
- Manage company networks and firewalls for external clients
- Supporting our technical partner channel with our products
- Consulting on infrastructure problems and providing suitable network solutions
- Taking ownership of user problems and being proactive regarding user issues
- Supporting partner reseller channels
- Meeting clients with our Sales Representatives and speaking to their Technical person onsite
- Manage company networks and firewalls
- Speaking to potential clients and IT partners
- Give training on company’s products existing and new features
- Helpdesk support for new clients
Requirements:
- Must be able to interact well with clients and have strong communication skills.
- Technical Skills:
- Networking Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, CCIE, Network+ or CompTIA)
- At least 3 years experience implementing cyber security solutions
- Experience with security tools like firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems
- (IDS/IPS), encryption, and security information event management (SIEM)

- Proficient in cloud security best practices, including monitoring, logging, and incident response
- Ideally experience with Fortinet, Checkpoint, Juniper, Sophos, Watchguard
- Good to have knowledge of PfSense, Untangle, Wingate and Kerio
Other requirements include:
- Level of education – Bachelor’s Degree or Relevant IT Course
- N + networking diploma
- Experience 3-5 years
- Non Smoker

Benefits:

- Salary – R 40,000 to R 60,000 per month depending on experience Plus Team incentive bonus structure
