Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company. This includes recording day-to-day financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in accounting software and general bookkeeping principles. Someone who is tech savvy (APIs, programmes, data driven and who takes initiative on figuring out new ways of working.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Accounting up to Balance Sheet and trial Preparation of Management Accounts / analysis of actuals vs budget
  • High Excel proficiency and experience in reconciling and processing large set software data simultaneously in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Ability to take existing processes and workloads and make them more efficient and accurate assisting the department and reducing time constraints and adhering to reporting deadlines
  • Ability to engage with various stakeholders including non-financial members.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant Financial Certification (Diploma, Higher Certificate, Degree)
  • 5 years of progressive
  • Proficiency in systems and software, with the ability to learn new technologies
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks
  • Able to work independently and as a team to achieve

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
